AZ Air is seeking a Warehouse Attendant. The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. This role ensures the warehouse is organized, clean, and safe, while maintaining accurate inventory records and following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Warehouse Attendant will Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.

  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or delivery.

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.

  • Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.

  • Report any discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed.

  • Support Trade Managers and Warehouse Managers for product needs

Warehouse Attendant Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 3+ years of warehouse experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with HVAC & Plumbing industry is a plus
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is an advantage.

  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs or more).

  • Basic math and computer skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Forklift certification (preferred or required, depending on the company).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time
  • May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
  • May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
  • May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing
  • Primarily works in a warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

 

Pay Transparency:

 

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $20-$24 hr. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.

 

We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
